Woho... It is finally finished. I like the final product, but it certainly had its problem. This is the second version of the sweater and it is still aspects that are kind of awkward. I have to wonder if the pattern was test knit in a Large. The sleeves were actually suppose to be 12 rows longer than they appear here. Also the length from the underarm to neck along the raglan was way to long. So I had to suddenly increase the decreases rather rapidly when I hit the shoulders or it would have probably hit my waist. The sweater though is so amazingly airy and warm. I love the photo of the sleeve so you can see the snow and my hand. But my final version certainly looks different from the standard pattern and the sample at the trunk show.

So What really does happen when a Mage learns to knit?
	Her Familiar starts to sweat! Look at all the craft items though, hat, tail things, sweater, crocheted pin, and a lovely Intarsia scarf! And she is fully stocked with a new ball of yarn in the basket and is that argyle socks as well?? I just love how knitting is starting to show up in other aspects daily life. kitty: Happy Spring

Happy Spring!!!! The weather has been absolutely crazy we had more than 2 months of rain in 36 hours followed by an ice storm to issue in spring. Of course the 642 people that had car wrecks this morning in central Ohio may not have felt the Easter Bunny will be here soon. That is solid ice on the car, road, and yard.

There hasn't been much knitting going on. Deadlines have been pretty much taking over my life. Though I must say I have jumped on the Woolmeise band wagon. I can not believe how beautiful the colours are in these socks.

Needles obviously are my favorite and much to no ones surprise I have started to look for crochet hooks now. I have been picking up a lot of old British needles so I had no idea what there sizes actual mean, so I went through a lot of the online retail sites and worked up a chart. Hope it is helpful to others.

title: M's Christmas Sweater pattern: Vogue 2007 Winter Knits Asymmetrical Men's Sweater Being folded up in my office for the last, ekk, couple of months has certainly wrinkled the sweater. I finally got M to try it on today and quickly grabbed some photos of him in it. I have been looking for buttons since Christmas, but it looks like it was good I didn't find them since M thinks his Cashmere and Cotton Sweater is too scratchy. :(
