Japanese Craft Books - Bunka - |
Knit Book October Last Minute Extra Edition 130 pages - 2007/10 ISBN-10: 4910084761079 |
I found this book, just by accident. I was going to pick up a couple of Hello Kitty necklaces for a friends daughter and I walked through the new Magazine section at our local Japanese Book Store. The magazine has a lot of cute hip sweaters and accessories. Some of them immediately called out for Habu yarns to me. I think one of the biggest problems we all have is finding great patterns to pull of the texture of the yarns. So it is always cool when you find cute deconstructed garments for the yarns. Patterns: Sweaters, dresses, shawls, necklaces, scarves, purses, coat, ponchos, vest, mittens, shrugs |

Gorgeous! I really love that black shawl/scarf- thing in the 4 part photographs. I have been looking at Japanese pattern books on Etsy and thinking about purchasing some for my birthday this year.

Thanks for posting these! When I'm in NYC, I try to purchase a couple Japanese knitting magazines.
ReplyDeleteIs there a Japanese book store in Columbus? I live in the Cleveland area, and it would be worth it to take a drive to Columbus to check them out!
Thanks!
