I know it is a bit early, but no time like the present to mark your calendar for local Ohio events. There are not many events yet here in Ohio, but I wanted to at least start to get the words out. *** How to get there: We will be in and around A Tangled Tale at 50 S. Liberty St. Powell, OH. Please bring: water, a chair, umbrellas, snacks, etc. The backup plan is: We will be inside. |
*** How to get there: Beehive Bookstore is located at 25 N. Sandusky Street! Please bring: The Beehive has seating available inside and outside on the sidewalk in nice weather. They have a coffee bar with soft drinks and water, as well as some snack type items available. The backup plan is: No backup plan! |

*** How to get there: World Wide Knit & Crochet in Public Day for the Dayton Area will be Saturday, June 13, 2009, 9 am - 2pm, at Five Rivers MetroParks…2nd Street Market. This FREE event is open to the public and all yarn and fiber enthusiasts: knitters, crocheters, felters, needlepointers, weavers, etc. There is no cost to participate and no RSVP is necessary. We will be inside 2nd Street Market at the east end of the building, next to the area where local musicians play…and just a few steps to some of the great food and beverages offered at the market. No selling is allowed. So mark your calendars now! Questions? Contact me at kquinn2@woh.rr.com Val Quinn Please bring: All you need to bring is a chair and your yarn/fiber projects. *** How to get there: The Gazebo at Courthouse Square is located in downtown Coshocton at the corner Fourth & Main Streets. Please bring: Please bring whatever you need to spend time KIP (water, food or snacks, etc.). Since there's limited seating, please bring a chair. And don't forget your knitting! Free restrooms will be available. The backup plan is: No back up plan. We'll meet rain or shine.

*** How to get there: The High School is on St. Rt. 534. We will be near the track, under a tent. We are knitting in public as part of the Lordstown-Newton Falls Relay for life. The KIP will be hosted by members of the Newton Falls Public Library Knit and Stitch Club. Please bring: Bring a chair and your knitting, and sit with us as long as you like. Anyone who would like, can make a small donation to the relay for life and knit a few rows to be integrated into a blanket we are knitting for charity. This is not required to knit with us. Several other relay teams will be selling food and water in the area. The backup plan is: There is no back-up plan.
