item #: AK-20 Fiddle head fern cotton silk From Habu's
site - Such a soft silk with a kind of rustic look because of the
fiddlehead fern cotton mixed with silk. Very traditional yarn from the
northern part of Japan, Niigata. Very rare to find those days, but we
have a limited stock right now. Grab them before they are gone again! |
I have been dreaming about this yarn for a long time. You don't want to know how many times I have tried to call Habu to check on its availability. Always out of stock... Thanks to Olga's own search for some much needed A-1 to finish her coat she asked again if they had it in stock and wonders among wonders I now own 1 oz. Thank you so much Olga for being a great enabler!!!!! |

It's time to face the fact that you are addicted to Habu. It's time to join HA and work through the 12-step program. I understand that those who finish the entire detox course trade in their Habu for Lion brand acrylic and find peace and happiness with the sound of squeeky yarn.
ReplyDeletesqueaky. sorry.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting yarn. Any idea what you are going to do with it?
ReplyDeleteI just picked up an ounce of that yarn too!! What are you going to do with yours? I picked up some of the cashmere that can be used as a warp and use the AK-20 for the weft...but am still basically undecided..I just ummm fondle the yarn looking for inspiration! :>
