MG: (non)working colors

trying to be jogless

been experimenting with jog fixes. also been trying for some cute Herringbone Mittens with Poms. the butter yellow and polar-morn grey Malabrigo below is the second pair of yarns not working for me. the yarn is so soft, so squishy, so lustrous i want to bathe in it. and the colors are beautifully moody. but not enough contrast to show off the color pattern.

    The mitts are lovely, but the jogs are a bit jarring. Did you try Tech Knitter's suggestions for jogless stripes? They never worked for me, but maybe you'll have better luck.

    How funny, those are exactly what I have been thinking about recently: jogless stripes for a (tubular) scarf for my dad, and herringbone mittens in blue and brown for a friend.

    Are you using Meg's Jogless Jog or TECHknitter's instructions, or something else again?
