I really wish this title was available in English. It is totally awesome. Though I am sure that I am missing so much of the content it isn't even funny. To be honest I wouldn't recommend the title if you can not read Japanese. The book is explains how to draw out the schematics for both knit ware and crochet. It takes you from the measurements that are common in flat pattern making and translate them into knit ware. It also breaks down the garment and shows it overlay over base measurement. It also shows you how to calculate the arms eyes to keep them in pattern for knitting and crochet. I am in love with this book... I just have to wish I understood it better. |

I've looked at this book a couple of times when I've been to Kinokuniya and have thought about buying it but haven't because I can't read Japanese. Unlike most other Japanese knitting books and mags where I can figure stuff out, I don't think I could with this one.
