Visit Design Your Own Shawl	Yep... That's right... I recently signed up to take Stefanie Japel's Design your Own Shawl Class. Between the deadlines this weekend I did a lot of research on possible lace stitches to use in my design and then I sat and charted it out the design while watching the snow outside the kitchen window.
I am really happy with the patterns that I decided on. I am using a combination of 5 different patterns that are all based on either linear or squares. Nothing really fussy, but all with at least to my eye had an architectural line.
Then I decided on using a sample pack of linen thread that I bought from Linnet a few months back. The only problem is that I have no idea what the actual yardage is on the 4 spools. Stay tuned for more homework reports....
