kitty: Columbus Boo at the Zoo, Happy Halloween - Gibbons

Happy Halloween to one and all!!!! Halloween is definitely my all time favorite holiday. So doing fun Halloween events mean a lot to me. Not that I normally take the time to do anything, this year was different. Maybe it is the realization that really life is to short to not do things you enjoy and love. So during this week I have gotten to share a little bit of the laughs at Boo at the Columbus Zoo. It had been years since my husband I have gone to the zoo and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. So I leave you with the photos of a Gibbons really enjoying his treat. If you want to see the rest of the zoo photos; click here

Oh.... is that a treat for me....

Lets see what the zoo keeper brought today

What a handy carved hole they left me

A piece of lettuce... munch munch munch

A piece of apple... munch munch munch

some grass... bleck what a waste of space

More grass

Now how can I get to the good stuff

Now we are in business.. Success

So... go enjoy your own Halloween Treats... Nothing more to see here today...

Hi Mr. Pumpkin, I would like to introduce you to my claws

See my pretty pumpkin

The nice and sharpe claws are better to eat you with

And you are so tasty. I don't want to miss a bite.

Ahhhh the joy of halloween pumpkins.

The Sun Bear is the world's smallest bear from Asia. And he obviously loved his pumpkin treat. His fur was amazing it looked like he had been brushed and oiled.

kitty: boo at the zoo continued... pumpkin time

You really think the King of the Jungle wants a pumpkin.

I will tell you what I really thought of it...

I will stick out my tongue at you..

Let me know when you have a better treat for me

Or I will give you my grumpy face

and sit here and wait.

More cute photos M took at Boo at the Zoo. Halloween really is my favorite holiday. We took Saturday off and just went and enjoyed the animals.

You want me to eat this thing? It is a lovely orange, but I don't think it is from the right food group.

I'll try a lick

It taste funky...

Stop Rolling Away...

Forget it...

I'd rather take a nap...

M took these photos when we went to Boo at The Columbus Zoo over the weekend. Every 30 minutes they feed a different animal a pumpkin.

We really couldn't have asked for a better night. The sky was amazing and it was warm with a cool fall breeze in the air.
