3:30pm in Westerville, OH
Do you ever sit and wonder about the silly things you asked your parents to do when you were a kid. When I was a little kid I use to ask my mom to drive through the big puddles on the road so that the water would splash on the windows of the car. The splashing water would thrill me and would always bring a huge smile to my face. I would ask my mom to speed up so that the splash would be larger and she was always nice enough to oblige her begging daughter with her pleads.
I hit this really huge puddle yesterday and it splashed all over the windows of the car. Instead of it bringing me a huge smile, I started to cry and thought of my mom. It also scared the crap out of me since my car started to hydroplane, but that is another story. Thanks mom, for always hitting all those puddles when I was a kid to bring me so much happiness.
It is funny how these memories come up at the oddest times. But I just had to share the photo I took yesterday afternoon outside my front door around 3:30pm. It was wild, you could actually see the rain coming down in the clouds, but it wasn't hitting the ground. The air was so heavy I could hardly breath outside. No wonder I still have a migraine
That sky looks really scary.
ReplyDeleteCrap... That sky looks like a scarry movie.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are getting the black sky, we are just getting the rain. Take care and be careful.
