Yarn: Cascade
Fixation Pattern: Broadripple socks and Sock-it-To Me Episode DKNG-204 TIVOed and watched faithfully for heals Needles: 5 Guage: 5st = 1" on #7 |
Take a look, two lovely socks all ready to mail off. More importantly it is September 1st and not September 14th at 1am and I am just weaving in ends. Its actually been done for a couple of days, but I just haven't felt like posting about crafts.
I had a lot of problems with the second sock. I guess I was a tad overexcited with the first sock and the heal flap is much tighter than the second sock that I knit. I actually tried to duplicate the same tight tension about 4 times. MG will tell you how rare this is since I truly hate to rip.
In other crafting news, here is the messenger bag that I have been slowly knitting. This is what I have been using all my hand spun yarn that you have seen so many post about already. I really love the way the colour self stripping is turing out. It is just going to take a very very long time. It is knit on size 4 needles.
The socks look great! The broadripple is one of my favorite patterns. ;-)

ReplyDeleteStopped by to look at the socks (which look good) and wow that handspun looks beautiful!
