kitty: Ladybug - Hiptee

The Specs:
Pattern: By Stefanie Japel for HipKnits UK
Yarn: Ladybug spun by me - 1674 yards Soy Silk and Viscous
Needles: Size US 5 Circular Addi Turbo
Modifications: I was afraid that the front decreases were going to be to much, so I cut out 1/3 of them. With the stretch of the yarn it would have been fine.
I also had troubles with the knit and purl rows around the key holes. The don't lay flat with the breads in the yarn.

I still cannot believe my project worked out so well. That is my yarn baby. WOHO!!

I am pretty upset that obviously the last part of the batt of fiber wasn't as saturated in colour or the dye wasn't set as well. I looked in earlier photos and I didn't notice the lighter section. I also don't remember that the hanks were different colours. So I am guessing that the dye fixative must not have reached the center of the fiber. So I have a stripe. :( Oh well, I am still very proud of my yarn. I must try to ignore that it didn't turn out perfectly. At least it is consistent.
